When Medlen was still with JFR, every once in a while a JFR trailer would be near Dardanelle, (in Yell County for you True Grit fans) Arkansas along I-40.
I had a chance to talk to John at Epping last year and asked if he still visited that area of the state. He doesn't. But, his mother-in-law lives about 30 miles from I live and he goes there when able.

I think that Jim Dunn has a new technical relationship with AB Racing. Having Medlin as a consultant fits nicely with a potential performance improvement for Big Jim's car. Should be interesting to watch!!

From what I'm hearing, John will still still be spending time with Paul Lee. I think this is kind of a split deal, and works because Lee and AB are in the same shop. How much time put into one team vs. the other I don't know. I'll assume (because you know what assuming does) it will be more track time with Lee and shop time with AB. At least for the races Lee attends.
