Angie McBride is more than ready to get back to racing this weekend in Chicago. After winning her first round of racing in the NHRA at Gainesville Raceway in March, McBride has struggled a bit to get to where she needs to be on the bike.
“I am ready to race,” said McBride. “I have been a little off here lately on my Indicom Electric Buell, but I have been testing with teammate Matt Smith and we hope to have all of my issues resolved.”
McBride hopes to prove not only to herself, but to her fellow motorcycle opponents that she has what it takes to win and she wants to prove that this weekend in Chicago.
McBride sits 14th in the NHRA POWERade Pro Stock Motorcycle point standings and is just a little over two rounds out of the top-10.
