Angie McBride is looking to redeem herself this weekend at the 12th Annual O’Reilly Midwest Nationals in St. Louis, Missouri. After coming off of her first DNQ with her new team, McBride is poised and ready to get back at it at Gateway.
McBride trails the oh-so-crucial top-10 in the point standings by just 19 points, one round of racing, and she expects to gain some ground starting this weekend.
“We had a rough weekend in Atlanta,” said McBride. “We have Indicom Electric and Nitrofish on board for the next few races, so I have got to step my game up and get it going. I know what I am capable of and I know that I am with the best team out here, so now it’s just a matter of putting the pieces together. I am ready for St. Louis.”
McBride’s talent and confidence has gotten her to this point in her career, and she expects to prove to everyone that she is the real deal this year. McBride is definitely the underdog to watch out for starting this weekend at Gateway.
