How fitting for the City of Cars, aka the Murder Capitol of the World and the town that invented CarJacking..... I was proudly born and raised there!

Kwame is nothing more than a disciple of Coleman Young. He is running this city the same way Coleman did. Running it even further into the ground. Coleman Young is lucky he didn't live in the digital age, or he'd have been exposed too.

The idiots that live in Detroit would re-elect this fool tomorrow. They did it after his past crooked dealings were made public, and they'd do it again now. Its hard to tell if they will or not. He was way behind in the polls before the last election then went on a shameful race baiting binge, people fell for it and he got the win. I want to think that they wouldn't fall for it again,

His mom his in congress, she barely won her primary which is viewed as a backlash because of him. Really she only reason she survived is that she had 2 people against her which ended up spliting the anti Kwame vote. She has enjoyed huge victories in the past but now 60%+ voted against her. If either of the two contenders in the primary enter as an independant for the general election and provided nobody else does then she'll be out.

The governor is having a review/trial on Sept 3rd to see if she should/can throw him out of office. I hope she does. He is killing the city and taking the entire region with it.

Don't worry Vaughn, I was being sarcastic about CY.... I grew up there in the 70's and 80's, as did my parents grand parents in the 20's through the 50's. So I know ALL about Detroit's somewhat painful political history - with a particular interest in the city's law enforcement history. Even though I don't live there anymore, I still stay pretty connected. I'm just as disgusted as most people. But - IMHO, the day they fire Kwame - will be the day the Lions fire thier Coach!

Department crime rates in NOLA, Philly, and Detroit have traditionally been more in line with other cities when they had white police chiefs.

Yes, I was pleased to see a president with the courage to take our country back to Church first after the 9/11 disasters. According to the patriots I quoted in the Tyson thread, you know, the one that you referred to as scripture, that was a vital move in the best interest of our Country to which I completely agree. Even David of old understood that principal when he wrote "Blessed is a Nation whose God is the Lord." Yes, that one was scripture. I know them pretty well.

PJ, I didn't post that to be Racist, quite the contrary! It was Walter Williams a BLACK radio Talk show host who brought that point to light! I can say during previous administrations these airmen seemed to speak out quite loudly with their concerns when asked and I'm not talking about George Bush Sr. either. I'm quite sure today's military personnel know they can openly speak their mind. They must not listen to enough of the liberal media as they unanimously support "W" without reservation when I ask. They also openly speak about the demise of our current military posture should Obama win with his complete absence of military savvy and single term congress experience. I suspect the voters should consider these factors as well but they seem pleased just hear the word "change" without asking "change what?"

Just what changes are you excited about that Obama proposes? No one has been able to answer this question with any substance. Seems besides openly stated tax increases, nobody really knows what he's changing? Do you?
