This is BS! They just added weight again to the Harleys, this is so unfair!

*What?
You say it was Suzukis that got the extra weight?
Uh, ok. Thanks for the uh, clarification…

Maybe for the final races NHRA will make Gaige carry Eddie as a passenger …..

Name one program on earth that has worked by saying lets make everything equal.................................some rise some fall.

So when the Harleys ran better than everyone else, the NHRA added weight to them. Now V&H runs Suzukis and they’re still adding weight to V&H….. ya think maybe V&H are doing their job?
The whole point is to do well within the rules posted at the beginning of the season, without cheating. To change the rules of play during the season is not right. Why would other teams work harder if they know that the sanctioning body is going to come to their rescue?

The Mopar contingent has been asking that same question ever since the 1972 season in pro stock.

I still would like to see PSM be 600cc bikes, nearly stock, with no wheelie bar. It would be fun the watch riders 'ride' the bikes instead of sitting dead still and hoping a wind gust doesn't come up. It would also be good to see Hondas, Yamahas, KTMs, Kawasakis and Triumphs battling Suzukis. NHRA appears to have no trouble equalizing packages now, they could do it with bike makes. Good marketing opportunities and strong crowd involvement.

Other teams do work hard. Work ethic is not always the issue imo. It's mom and pop teams trying to compete with a giant. You got teams operating out of 28' foot trailers against a team that has money and personnel to chase the best, and they are sometimes the main source of parts for those smaller teams.

Most of those other manufacturers likely have little to no interest in NHRA racing. Without some factory support there is little chance for success. They will just keep adding weight to the V&H bikes until they (NHRA) are happy with the results.
