massey does not qualify

It's not all bad for The Don.

Hight vs Neff first round, Hagan has a pretty easy (mostly non top 10) side of the ladder. Good draw 1st round, probable teamate 2nd round.

It's too bad for the Fram team. Even though I want Worsham to win T/F this is not the way it should happen. I want to see everyone in the chase racing and have the best team win.

so what's everyone think of so much variety in track & air temperatures
throughout a 6-race playoff?
is it too much a crap shoot on blistering hot tracks?
does anyone know the true quality of the phoenix track this weekend?
was there a mistake made putting this resurfaced? track in playoff?
or is it a true test of tuning and driving?

I like the diversity in tracks, surfaces, climates, etc. in the playoffs, it really brings out the best in teams and drivers. It's a great equalizer.

Both the Capps and Massey Race Car rigs were long gone on Sunday morning. They were allowed to pull out early [unusual!] on Saturday evening and drive to Las Vegas for early testing.

An additional factor was that the NAPA car was brand new.
