M&H Racemasters

I guess a better question would be "when did they leave NHRA drag racing"? and "Was it an exclusivity deal with Goodyear"?
Thanks for your help in advance.

I'm still not convinced that today's M/H tire company is
the same company when Marv was around.
If you read the about us section. It's very vague about the early years.

Funny you should mention that: I met (someone who SAID he was Marvin) at the Grand Prix of the United States - Watkins Glen in 1963. Super nice guy - I was thrilled to meet him - I was just a kid.

I believe they are still around, www.mandhtires.com , I remember my dad buying M&H Racemasters from the, I believe, founder Marv Rivchin (sp) at Indy when I was a kid.

Marv Rifchin died in 2009 at the age of 94. The M&H website shows a Bakersfield CA address, and since M&H was from the New England area, I would assume someone bought the company.

Original company made in Watertown, Mass. ...........The new brand may be made out of the country.....just sayin'

Bakersfield CA address

Back in the day, Ernie Hashim's Speed Shop was the West Coast distributor for M&H. I remember several drives over the old Ridge Route to buy slicks! The shop was on the northeast corner of 19th and Baker streets

Here is another possible update"
"As the years went by, Marvin decided to sell the company to Interco Tire, but he still remained involved in the company until his final days."
