I'm so sorry to hear about this Greg. Life sure has a way of trying to kick you when you're down. Try to stay positive and keep the faith. I'll be praying for you both.
Trust me, we've looked at everything. Didi is way into the naturopathic way of doing things if it's an option. The apricot seed thing is tricky. There is no "controlled" product and using raw seeds was not advisable according to Didi's friend who is a AMA board certified doctor and licensed naturopath.
And thanks to everyone for the words of support and encouragement! It means a lot to Didi and I.
We're confident things will turn out okay. It's just going to be a tough road. She's especially having a hard time emotionally with the ATA going out of business. She had flown for them for 14 years and many of the other crew were like family to her. Not to mention the struggle to try and keep her benefits going so her treatment can continue uninterrupted.
Wow Greg.... i am very sorry to hear this. We have never met but I pull for you (with the Nor Cal and Nitromater connection) all of the time. I will keep Didi and you in my prayers. Stay strong!!!
Greg - I'm really sorry to hear about what you folks are going through. For her to lose her career/friends and this all at the same time is just something else.
My best to you both.....and you'll both be in my prayers, too.
Greg, keep in mind that 9 years ago TJ Sr was sent home to die. He started looking into the alternative stuff and look at him. I will say to till I die that I believe with all my heart that my sister would not have died in 98 if she would have tried the things that I wanted her to. I'm sorry to say and hurts bad but cancer is a billion dollar business these days and I have no trust whats so ever in what the doctors are saying today, I dont put as much blame on them as I do the federal goverment and the american medical assc.
Greg, call Tommy. What would it hurt. Prayers are with you and Didi always.
Thoughts, prayers, and nothing but the best for both you and Didi from your ol buddy here in south central NE--Keep the faith--we are all pullin for you!
My 49 year old sister has battled Cancer of the Uterus(sp?) twice since '05! In Aug. '05 a spot was discovered, and after 2 months of Chemo she was given a clean bill of health. Until Last Oct. when after a Blood test traces of it showed up in her blood once again. Sure enough 2 more months of Chemo and losing the Hair she's once again Clean! But she'll need 3 month check-ups for at least 2 years! Cancer is the one thing that reminds us how fragile life is!
