No you're not. You are spot on. Galvin and Enders trying to out-talk each other, is so intrusive to the broadcast. They're not calling a hockey game, although maybe their producer is telling them "talk as much as you possibly can!"I didn’t mind Logan…I know he wasn’t a favorite of some on here but his job was to get the crowd up and going which at times didn’t resonate with folks watching from home. Even at the track perhaps. At times he was pretty darn funny.
.tv has seemed to switch to a production and while I think the sportsman announcing is solid, Galvin and Enders in the booth for pros is just one talking over the other constantly. No free air time…it’s always filled with chatter about something. Silence sometimes is ok. Reckon I’m just getting old and grouchy![]()
Falls on deaf ears at nhra and fox,sound sucks esp the cars,why i wont pay.No you're not. You are spot on. Galvin and Enders trying to out-talk each other, is so intrusive to the broadcast. I do think Galvin is a very good Sportsman announcer, and Courtney seems very knowledgeable, but I wish NHRA.TV had an option to control the sound channels, like Mute.
I do miss when Alan, Joe and Logan would rib each other during down time, they were very funny. Oh well...
Its non stop talking,esp on nhratv. They just dont get it,we want to hear the cars,is that to much to ask for lolThe “production” on both .TV and Fox is beyond belief atrocious.
.TV is a joke for all the “we are working on it “ bs, the car
sound is not audible, as announcers babble like they think they are stars and think they are adding something to the broadcast.
Still cannot believe the idiots at Fox actually cut away from Jordons run down the track (a historical moment) to show more recaps!
NHRA should be ashamed of their selves, instead of crying about poor ratings that their director and producers cause, try showing a bit of respect for our sport
And on .TV their are also too many times where Jason and Courtney talk right through what is going on live on the track.The “production” on both .TV and Fox is beyond belief atrocious.

Right on.I really enjoyed working with Jason, even when he would call me out;
"Hey Alan, wasn't that a track record?" or "Hey Alan, Fred won the last time these guys raced."
He knew and had a good rapport with the racers just from being around so long.
And he was exceptional at bantering back and forth when we had a minute.
Good Dude, I wish him well.
