Twitter is not Facebook. It is perhaps the most useful news source there is. Follow the most interesting people and news sources, don't have to tweet (say) anything, and you get instant news, all in an easily digestible form. Even my 85yo mom is a twitter user, would never touch Facebook, finds twitter very useful.

But whatever, be a Luddite.
