I watched it yesterday flying back home, it was hard not tearing up listening to John tell that story. Very well done!

Years ago, while running test laps at Adams Kart Track, Tony Miglizzi stomped into my trailer. "Drop what you are doing, come with me," he said. Well, when dealing with Tony, it is best to follow his program, so I put down the carb I was rebuilding and followed him to a pickup truck parked nearby. Standing at the back of the truck was Eric Medlen and a used kart his had just bought with his crew bonus money. Tony ordered Eric to listen to everything I said about his new kart and after a quick tutorial, Eric was flying around the track like he had been there all his life.

In the very short amount of time I spent with him, I discovered Eric to be bright, honest and caring. An amazing life.
