I thought Leah & Matt's wraps were some of the best out there. They took the time to make a clean but identifiable wrap that shows their sponsor without a lot of clutter. It seems that a lot of the T/F cars have opted for black or just plain carbon fiber - boring.

A great example of what you get when an outsider breaks through the NHRA insider network. Original thinking and a racer's approach. I hope this is just the beginning of a new approach.

In all fairness, NHRA has done it before, with money on the line, in the early 2000s. The Winston Invitational I believe it was called.

vandergriff jerzees TF'r vs. jorce castrol superman in final if i recall. used to have old digger magazine pile and that issue sat on top for some reason.
only way i'd possibly remember without googling ;)

And it has happened in testing more times than you know. It was cool that it was the two TSR cars, but it's not unique. It has been done a lot.

Interesting to me that years ago, there was about .3 between T/F and F/C, cuz then the F/C weighed abut 300 lbs more. Have noticed the last several years that the difference is only about .2 now and MPH sometimes is faster for F/C. Still wanna see someone run 340.....
