In pre-race testing today at Indy, Leah Pritchett ran 7.988-171.58 in Factory Showdown. It was the 2nd quickest ET in the class, according to competitionplus.com.
So impressive to see the progression of those cars. Having more horsepower than tire is so important to keeping racing interesting, but in this case factory iron very heavily tickled is truly cool.
stock is such an awesome class already, these factory stock cars just put the class over the top. fun to watch this class unfold. i sure hope chevrolet
doesn't stop producing the copo, as i believe has been rumored. (something about manufacturing costs outweigh selling price?)......really hope to catch factory stock
at gainesville in march.
