Largest Monday crowd in years....

or so it seemed to me. Even with the unseasonably cool weather, the stands looked more filled than they have for quite some time for Monday's finals, especially considering NHRA just put the larger permanent grandstands on the pit side a few years ago.

I'll tell ya', we were there Wed-Thurs, and the crowds were big from Friday eveing on. And watching the finals on TV, I agree, a great crowd today. To boot, the weather was insanely hot through Saturday, and today it was about a 40 degree drop, so the fans put up with less than ideal weather.

Today the Pro Pitside stands looked the Fullest they have all weekend! But overall the attendance was down I think, the economy in this part of the country is in Bad shape!
