JOLIET, Ill., June 9, 2007 -- Kenny Koretsky put together four solid runs during qualifying for Sunday's Torco Racing Fuels Nationals at Route 66raceway and his 6.650-second effort at 207.34 mph from Friday night held up for the No. 10 starting position for Sunday's eliminations.
Koretsky's runs were made more impressive by the unpredictable racing surface. His other runs in Joliet resident Greg Hill's Indicom Electric/Nitro Fish Chevy Cobalt were 6.683, 6.637 and 6.680 seconds.
The Richboro, Pa., driver races Larry Morgan (No. 7, 6.647 at 207.05 mph) in the opening round.
