Proud to say she grew up in my hometown. With due respect to Shirley Muldowney, Kitty was every bit the pioneer and equal of Shirley. I wasn't aware she'd passed away, either. RIP.

Well, not only had I not heard of her passing away, I was not even aware of her. What happened at the Oscar's ?? I guess her passing away late last year did have significance to the movie industry since she was in a number of movies and TV shows as stunt doubles. She sounded to be fearless. Thanks for making this racing community aware of her legacy.
