Most people would be very surprised at how much stuff like this Connie and Doug do. And I've never heard of them bragging about it, they just like to help when they can. Some people issue a press release everytime they drop a quarter in the bucket, but not the Kalittas they just quietly do what they can without expecting anything more than a thank you.

That's actually not Kalitta Air. Thier LearJet med program operates under Doug's primary company, Kalitta Charters. But you're right - the air ambulance & helicopter programs like this, all around the country, make miracles happen every day. I should know because I work for one!
