Why would the Prock's do that? They have complete control now. They have access to all the JFR technology, resources, manufacturing capabilities. etc, etc. Why would they give that up?
Jimmy for the last 25+ years has worked for JFR and DSR. I can't imagine him starting over. Moving into a shop with no Blower or Clutch dyno, or having an idea and contracting the manufature of the part instead of just walking into the CNC shop and having it made. Or wanting a to try a different chassis design. All in house. And that's just for starters.
Not to mention the fact that they don't have to worry about securing sponsorship. And if you go out on your own, that would be Job One!
I could certainly be wrong, but I can't picture Jimmy giving up all those perks.
