Josh harts New 2026 ride (6 Viewers)

I still think Prock will run their own team at some point. So the Procks move independent with Austin driving the FC and Force is left with one FC and one TF.

With Dejoria rumored to be moving over they would still have two funny cars. Gotta love silly season.

Dan,

Why would the Prock's do that? They have complete control now. They have access to all the JFR technology, resources, manufacturing capabilities. etc, etc. Why would they give that up?

Jimmy for the last 25+ years has worked for JFR and DSR. I can't imagine him starting over. Moving into a shop with no Blower or Clutch dyno, or having an idea and contracting the manufature of the part instead of just walking into the CNC shop and having it made. Or wanting a to try a different chassis design. All in house. And that's just for starters.

Not to mention the fact that they don't have to worry about securing sponsorship. And if you go out on your own, that would be Job One!

I could certainly be wrong, but I can't picture Jimmy giving up all those perks.

I agree. It doesn't make any sense for the Procks to start their own team. Who needs all those headaches, when they are all very well paid now, and don't have to deal with all those messy details of owning the team.

This is the JFR Press release October 15th. Again, pretty clear.

I'm not picking on you. We all miss things from time to time, but I really thought this one was was so well reported that it would be hard to miss.
Next time it could very well be me.
