Interesting to see Jordan Vandergriff in Phoenix , taking Tony's car down the track for a couple times. Hopefully something works out an Jordan is back on the track soon.

I met him at the PRI show in December, good guy. He's really determined to get back out there, I really hope he does, it would be great to see him mix it up with Prock and the rest of the class.

Interesting that he specifically wanted to test a canopy car because he hinted in an interview with Lohnes that he may have an opportunity to drive one of those cars in the near future

Vandergriff seemed to be talking a bit of 'smack' and mimicking Muhammed Ali somewhat, which is fine. The only problem with nitro drivers writing checks, is that, whoever is tuning the car is generally the one, who has to cash it, as drivers, in this class are relatively swappable (see Alan Johnson's championships). When Ali talked smack, He and only he, had to back it up !!
