I said all year long, that once it got figured out, he was going to be trouble, and I was right.

Jimmy told me in Brainerd he was on the right track after testing in Indy, and he felt really good about the rest of the year. The DNQ at BIR was a fluke, the car was not as bad as the results showed there, a lot of bad luck and mother nature played into it. Since then, Reading would have been at least a runner up if not for John's red light. Indy, Runner Up, then 2 wins. With all the good runs lately, he is getting a good baseline now in hot and cold conditions, and is going to be a threat to the end.

The education he received with the new chassis over the summer has proven to be VERY GOOD, thusfar according to the points.

You've got it exactly right. All they needed to do was squeak into the countdown then rock and roll from there. Treat the "regular season" as a big test session then kill 'em all after that. This may well be the team to beat.

Brent, get over it. Jimmy was not even on the grounds when Robert drove Johns carv(with NHRA permission). Also, if Cruz had not smoked the tires and lost it for himself, John would have never got the chance.

Why are you being such a douchebag on all the pro Prock/Hight topics?? Mind your own.

I agree with Brent, Robert's test session in Brainerd put him over the limit, and the 55 points he earned in Maple Grove should be disallowed and then the controversy between Pedregon/Force would be moot. The issue isn't with either team, the issue is with NHRA for not having a sack and standing up to Force and telling him that Robert was over the limit. If Robert tested John's car after Brainerd and John drove his own car the following weekend I could understand where this wouldn't have been any violation of the testing rules, but John himself announced to the world that he was going to switch Robert and his cars until things turned around because he had a responsibility to get all four of his cars in the countdown. It seems pretty cut and dried here: Robert tested and Robert drove the same car he tested at the following race, therefore he should've been charged for a fifth testing session.

C'mon Mike..you're saying that ONE testing session is the reason they are kicking as@ now?

As it ended up..the Peds weren't mad that John through the race..and how do we know Robert wouldn't have won anyway..but they were mad by HOW he through it. Which was obviously.

If Hight/Prock win this deal..I won't have any sour feelings at all. Too bad that can't be said for all.

No David, I'm not saying that the one extra test session is the catylyst that turned a 4.20 sec FC into a sub 4.10, I believe that Jimmy Prock was trying new things and he might've got himself a little lost. My contention is that NHRA violated the spirit of fair competition by allowing Robert to have a fifth test session but not penalizing him any points for doing it. Rules are rules and everyone is bound by the rules to create a level playing field for ALL teams in competition. Terry Haddock had to forefit the points he earned at the Madison Ill. NHRA event because he drove 2 days each at two IHRA races and another match race in Edmonton which put him over the testing limit. (read the black sidebar)

If it was not for the countdown..(And Forces Deal)...He would not Even be close to where He Is

Robert is where he is because his boss cheated him into the final 10. If your sponsor wants it that way, then you have the wrong sponsor. Very simple!
