I saw a video on youtube about a transmission part they had cloned and even put the vendors name on it. He was highly pissed about it and I think his part was what got Speedmaster dropped from Summit. I'll try to find that video and post a link.Jegs is selling their stuff, but Summit is not. Speedmaster is trying to buy their reputation in my opinion. Years and years of selling subpar and counterfeit parts isn't forgotten in this industry.
In an Out contributes to our sport but it didn't stop some from bashing their product. We should only judge them on today going forward. (kind of a biblical thing ya know.) How many of us got here on a pure and perfect path? (see Penske Racing) I am glad to see anyone investing in our sport.
Having never even heard of Speedmaster I hope this is the case. Why would all the smart people at JFR along with Josh Hart who owns a speed shop align themselves with a company that was not on the up and up?We should only judge them on today going forward. (kind of a biblical thing ya know.) How many of us got here on a pure and perfect path? (see Penske Racing) I am glad to see anyone investing in our sport.
The Speedmaster CEO has been on the Youtube pre-race show on NHRA. I think he is Australian. He sponsors that show.Having never even heard of Speedmaster I hope this is the case. Why would all the smart people at JFR along with Josh Hart who owns a speed shop align themselves with a company that was not on the up and up?
Fair enough. I won't bash them but I certainly won't buy any of their products. We should only judge them on today going forward. (kind of a biblical thing ya know.) How many of us got here on a pure and perfect path? (see Penske Racing) I am glad to see anyone investing in our sport.
They are going after the Pro-street market and this goofy trend of putting fake injection , on top of carbs, on top of a blower. Absolute knock off dimensionally but lower quality casting and hardware of course. Anything that they put original development into, fine.Fair enough. I won't bash them but I certainly won't buy any of their products.
Regarding the Enderle hat(s), if they ever had a patent I'm sure it's past it's lifetime. And besides, who in their right mine would put a knock-off on their race car?
