Jeggie in a Mopar next year? (1 Viewer)

..would be great to see jeg back and hopefully dave connolly can find some backing and get back into the mix. both of those guys need to come back and help keep those summit boys in check, as they are startin' to 'own' pro stock.

I'm looking forward to the rumor of Jeggie in the first pro-stock Camaro next year to be true.

If I were a betting man, I wouldn't bet MOPAR. I wouldn't bet Camaro either............

lol you got me thinkin what's left? I'm just thinking if Jeg is coming back he's gonna do it with something new. Pontiac is dead. I have always wondered why hasn't there ever been a toyota, or a nissan. Now that I thought about it, are you saying Jeg may come back in a Mustang?

What do Mustangs have to do with elephants?

Okeedokee.

That would mean anything from Chryler is out. I don't see Jeg running a Ford at all. What does that leave us?

GM.

Pontiacs are gone. Cobalts went byebye. That leaves Camaros, Cruzes, Corvettes, Impalas and Malibus for Chevy. The only thing other than a Camaro for Chevy I see working for Pro Stock would be the Cruze. And that would be cool, because I just bought one. I don't see any Buicks or Cadillacs in Pro Stock's future.....

I tink Alan's just messin' wid us!

I think Alan's foolin us as well. You just named everything David. I can't see Jeg in a ford when he has never been in one. Buick and NHRA no way. Cadillac, now it's a longshot but i could see a CTS or something. After this point we went through every car, what's next? A fiat?

......unless Jeggie is thinking about nitro?????

That's the whole thing everybody is saying "bumblebee became an elephant" I don't exactly get what it means for a guy like jeg, I cant see jeg driving anything with a blower on it. I could see him in a pro-mod if he's going that root cause then he'd be back for 10 races and still have time off to race sportsman whereever. And if Pro-mod was it, again no blower, I see him going turbo or nitrous

Just for the record, I didn't say I knew something, I said "If I were a betting man". I often take the longshot.........

But usually only if I know something............

Find out at SEMA

Why do you climb Mt. Everest? Because it's there.

Jeggie has climbed the Pro Stock Mt. Everest 4 times. It was obvious when he went away he lost a lot of passion for it. There was no reason for him to stop other than he didn't want to do it anymore. Jeggie is in a fantastic position that a mere mortal like myself does not pretend to understand. He has the means and talent to do whatever he chooses. Maybe Pro Stock doesn't do it for Jeggie anymore and he needs that new challenge ... the first steps into the unknown. That unknown could be a flopper burning nitro.

I won't be surprised when Jeggie comes back in whatever he chooses to come back in (well a motorcycle would surprise me). I just hope he comes back. Drag Racing is much better and stronger with Jeggie in the program.

I can't agree with drag racing overall, but I can agree with the fact that he makes any class he is in much harder that it used to be. Jason Line would not be # 1 this year with Jeg in it I bet. Jeg is a Robot on the tree consistantly and Jason is Average late and maybe 10% of every 10 rounds cutting a 20.

How could that oxcart be competitive? The thing is twice as big as its competition. Do you think NHRA will let them slice and dice it like the Dakota in P/S Truck?

Lol, at this point only if mopar wants to rush and slap a name on a boat. It would be as aerodynamic as the 2000 Chevrolet Camaro pro-stock car. It's amazing that KJ had such a great year in their. It's even more amazing a cutlass actually won as well.
