Our dealership just got the 09 ZR-1 Corvette. One word, AWESOME!

Rob - Google ZR 1 Corvette . . . that will keep you busy with photos and video for quite a while! This is an amazing car and probably the best high performance value in the world. Saw the car and the engine at the Chevy pavilion at the Indy Brickyard race.
Now for what will be some unpopular opinions:
1. The "window" in the hood shows nothing but the engine cover. Assume it's some form of polycarbonate. It is going to have to hold up to a lot of heat and abrasion. I'm sure what the point of this is.
2. SEATS! - don't look much better than those in my C5, which I hated. At this level of performance, there should be at least an option for seats with some real support and a four point belt system. I don't believe that option is available from the factory. Incredible car, but for $100K . . .

JIm, I made just a shot blast in today and if it was $200 grand I'd still buy it.

There's seats and then there's seats. I have two C4 's and the Hot Rod has the optional interior with fully adjustable Leather Seats and they are really something compared to most other Vette seats I've sat in.
That said the 634 HP Turbocharged 2009 is a really awesome beast even if you have to sit on the floor !
If I had any 401 K left I sure would be tempted to max it out [ again ] !
I wonder if you can get a thirty year loan on one . LOL
