Well, my ESPN is showing ESPN News. It's 3:08 now, and no drag racing action to be delayed because of baseball, basketball, volleyball, golf, or sumo wrestling. It's ESPNNews for crying out loud.

Um, it was on at 3 p.m. EST, well more like 3:30 so it was only 12:30 p.m. here. Not that late ... unless you're working the graveyard shift like my hubby has been lately.

I had just gotten home from having brunch yesterday and was a little late so I actually was not too upset about the game running over ... and it's no surprise they scheduled a live event before the Gators coverage since they started the show probably two hours before the event was even over. Can't hurt to have a little wiggle room in case of a wreck or oil down or other delay.

I was DVRing while watching as I knew I would be unable to watch the whole thing. Guess what I did, I deleted it before I could watch it! Luckily they replay it on ESPN Classsic Mondays.

Guess I didnt read into it.. I saw the qualifying was on very late on Saturday. I thought they were talking about that. I have an automatic DVR that seeks out all drag racing, so I don't know what time they start and stop. That way I can watch them when I have time.

I don't trust my DVR to record stuff ... I don't always get it all. But yes indeed the qualifying was on late. And I stayed up until 1:30 in the morning watching it then got up at 10 a.m., showered, had breakfast at 11 and then got back to the house just after noon to watch. I did set my DVR to record it in case I didn't get home in time but I didn't account for the basketball game running half an hour over so I would've been screwed at the end.
So, yeah, I don't trust my DVR. I blame Comcast. And sometimes ESPN/ESPN2.

You need Uverse so you can reset it from your cellphone... phooey on this caveman stuff ... LOL

I finally got rid of our po-dunk cable company and got DirecTV. I can adjust/add from my cell phone now, too.

I can get at&t DSL at my house ... I don't have a landline, strictly cell phones, I don't believe in that crazy caveman technology Joe keeps touting.

Hmm. I shall check into that ... since I live on my cell phone. I have to charge the thing every day now because I use it so much. *shakes head*
