New Mexico has lots of them. The la llorona cuento has been around forever, everybody knows about her. I still believe I have seen la llorona around the Rio

They left off Luna Mansion, the Val Verde Hotel in Socorro, the Old State penitentary and just about every business in Old town!

Thanks Jackee! Interesting stuff there. Looked at my home state, Montana, and realized there are all these haunted places I've been. :p

Funny story about the Luna mansion. My aunt came down from Vermont and wanted to eat at Tellefios, a restaurant across from the Luna Mansion. We went down there and after we ate she and my mom walked around outside so they could smoke. My aunt got all excited because she thought she saw an owl. She got her camera out of the car...snuck around the side of the building, into the brush and took probably five shots of this owl.

Watching her trying to sneak up with out setting the owl to flight was funny enough, but it was especially funny when we told her that it wasn't a real owl. It was a statue!

Waco - Cameron Park - Lindsy Hollow Road - Two alleged horse thieves use to hang out on Lindsey Hollow Road. The bodies of the two brothers were found hanging from a tree about 100 feet from the road, killed by vigilantes in 1880. Shadowy images of the hanging brothers can be seen in the old tree. Reports of reflections of unknown person, a spectral party, hearing screams, feeling paralyzed, & apparitions.

My grandma used to live on that road and needless to say some crazy things happened while we were out being bad at 2am. There used to be an abandon house and we walked by one night it had lights shining out of the windows, creepy.

Pretty creepy stuff....it is sort of fun to read about the places that I have been in Washington and Oregon. Portland OR has a bunch of places that are supposed to be haunted. The Shanghai tunnels and the White Eagle saloon are a couple of seriously creepy spots.
