What has been very inovative in the racing world lately ? The hood scoop over blower in pro mod ? Obviously the turbo developements , but what else Gopros...
Lets hear ya !

I got to design kiddo's new car, using the rulebook and a concept on how these cars hook up and run, and Jeff Ault has been crushing numbers on the engineering side to come up with something completely different for the Jr. class

Innovation comes in all shapes and sizes (and classes)

Mike Janis and Alan Johnson developing a 5.3" bore space supercharged engine in the ADRL.

Curious how much that will cost???

Probably more than some people's houses, I'm sure! But that's definitely an area where a lot of innovation is taking place. Given the time, that combination and the benefits it provides, will be very tough to beat.

That IS a very interesting looking design, Martin. Does a roll bar hoop still need to be added to it???

Yeah David... It was over at the 'glass guy's shop getting measured for the body... Hoop and cage has been fit with Emmett in the car now (he's 6' tall now ), and will be on this week, along with the poured seat.

Something about fresh pipe, even on a Junior! Great looking Martin, please posts pics with your progress. And regarding innovation, obviously we're in a different world. We have proven it's possible to go almost 330 in 1000 feet, God knows how fast if we were still at 1320. And everyone pretty much agrees that's too fast. But, there's always room for new thinking, and especially in the areas of safety and creating bombs with longer wicks, meaning less oildowns.

You know, I started to open my mouth here, and some things in the racing PC world are better left unsaid........

Please look very close at the motor, there is additional credit needed where credit is due........
