Again she comes up short!!! This team has run so well but just can't seem to get in done. Once Brittany and her team break the ice, the competition better be ready!

Look at how many times Pops was in that same situation. Then after he got that first win. The rest is history.

It appeared to me that the Brittany team is struggling to get out of the .80s consistently, and now have a recipe to run mid to low .70s, but with a lot of carnage as part of the formula. Seems they are trying to rush things to get those .70s and blowing up big time as a result. Kinda reminds me way back when John and Austin Coil were trying to move to the next level of performance with disastrous results. Back in the days when I could stand to listen to him, John said "It's a real volatile combination...it either hauls ass or blows up!"

For ever so long she couldn't run hard enough to scatter parts, now they've learned how to run hard and and will quickly learn how not to scatter parts. She's/they are about to be double tough.

It took John Force like 13 final rounds to finally win his first Wally. If she doesn't have her first win by the time they reduce TF to 1/8th mile racing after next season then maybe we can start this thread….

of course this assumes that she has a deal to drive next season. She might want to hurry and get a win this year.

Damn... Just what the world needs- another Force to be able to "catch a break".

Meanwhile, Diehl runs a career best and is sitting in the stands on Sunday...

There are A LOT more deserving folks out there that are due. The fact that this sport now requires seven figures to be competitive makes it harder to be a fan...

I love it when Dave Reif says the Force girls have the same drive and determination that John does. I don't honestly see how you can compare what John has built out of nothing to sitting in the seat and hitting the pedal. Along the lines of... "If somebody pays for something, they'll take better care of it and appreciate it more."

Martin, who is "more deserving" and why?

Jim Head Racing, Larry Morgan Racing, just to name two. Racing teams with the true spirit of what this sport used to be about- engineering outside of the box, a great attitude and the desire to win. Those things are what made this sport interesting- guys like The Greek, Tommy Ivo, the W-C-M team, the R-M team, to name a few- all making power come from places nobody else was looking at.

Yes- JFR & DSR engineer some great technology, but almost now to the point where they are overly dominating. I loved how the field seems to breath better once all the big team cars are on the trailer- it makes for a less predictable Sunday.

Baseball sucked when the Yanks won all the time.
