Interesting article

I tend to agree with Mr. Fiorito. It’s OK to be unfriendly with those you are competing against in professional sports.

Unfriendly is one thing. Fist fights are another. Guess he is trying to merge hockey and the WWE with the NHRA. WWE is a clown show and NHL is the 4th ranking major sport in the US. Great to try to model the NHRA after them - not!

IDK, 4th aint too bad. What's NHRA ranked lol?

I like the sentiment, but if we look at what’s likely to generate conflict, it’s staging which is the most pathetic thing to get pissy over. Don’t like getting double-bulbed? Do it first. Don’t like getting beat on a holshot? Leave first. Upset your competitor took too long to stage? Remind yourself tish happens and it’s not intentional.

Genuine conflict over a genuine grievance would be great to see but it’s going to take a John Force dive or Chris McGaha accusation to do it authentically.

Yeah, what up with DougZilla attacking a little stringbean like Clay? LOL. I know emotions get high, but that was basically the end of Doug’s racing endeavors. All’s fair in love and drag racing. 😆
