Indy parking? (1 Viewer)

So I keep hearing parking for Indy is free on NHRA posts and commercials but the IRP website says the usual $10 daily for the U.S. Nationals. I'm not against paying but would like to save $40 this weekend. Anyone heard if we can get out of the weekend with an extra $40 to spend on gear?

It was $10 a day last year. The only time I can remember not being charged was during the races in 2020.

I figured so. Either way I'll be there Friday through Monday.

Yeah, I appreciated that but can't believe they will lose all of that revenue stream. I would expect some parking charges as we go through the weekend.
