IHRA Triple Crown

I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet. All three races are on NHRA off weekends. Surely a lot of teams will be adjusting their schedules to chase this $$$. All three good tracks too, and 1,000 feet races. The payouts show only 8 car fields, they need to change those to 16 car payouts.

I am thinking some NHRA players will be chasing this one, going to be a very busy few weeks.

I'd expect Head to run Columbus.
I'd say it's gonna depend on sponsors contracts

a few thoughts.
- pro nitro drag racing has needed this for a LONG time
- how many years have we been discussing the nhra 'majors'? that they should have a few 'big money' races every year
- 31 pro nitro events in 2026, including both hra's + triple crown
- 3 races running for $150k, i would think the first two might draw big fields
- there will be 7 consecutive weekends if someone chooses to run all of them. IMO epping will suffer.
