IHRA comeback, going after NHRA?

On Comp Plus, they have a big story about IHRA doing a 10 race Nitro Jam series in 2025.

I thought meh, but read they plan to have TF, FC, mountain motor PS, and PM at each race, and some events will have 500 ci PS, PSM, TF Harley, and TF motorcycle.

It will be interesting to see if any races are scheduled on top of NHRA races. If they scheduled a midwest race over Seattle or Epping, that could make for interesting car counts. Didn't see a purse structure.

What most people have missed is that at PRI, it was announced that they had a sponsor to do three Nitro Jam events for 2025. A few days later, that sponsor bought the IHRA. And now he is upping Nitro Jam to ten events. Larry Jeffers no longer owns the IHRA.

Does the IHRA even have 10 tracks that aren't 1/8th mile? It will be interesting to see how this plays out. As always, it will come down to $$ to the racers.
