If it turns out to be a land grab for data centers after all, the feeling that we were being fooled all along because some wealthy f*****s saw us as a bunch of suckers to be played will be painful for some to admit that drag racing can never be looked at as a serious sport, and its just a bunch of hucksters looking for their next mark to prey upon. 🤬
I’m horribly afraid that this is EXACTLY what it is.

Josh might be busy right now driving a AB Motorsports rig out to Sonoma.

Josh works for AB now?

I’ll defer that question to Josh. On Facebook he posted he was headed out west with a picture of the AB Motorsports Pitside Experience trailer.

I was wondering as tech director what was going to happen to him. Nice guy hope he landed in a good spot.
Thanks guys. Just helping out AB for the swing. They needed a driver for the hospitality rig. Unsure of anything after that, open to offers. 😂

Someone just mentioned this on another post on Nitromater, and it is what I saw posted elsewhere yesterday. If you click on the link below, it takes you to the CBRE brochure for the Topeka site. Scroll all the way to the bottom and it says the brochure is copyright 2024. Hopefully the track is not still for sale. Here is the link https://www.cbre.com/resources/file...fea9/0da6ddad-474d-4a9c-89b0-d361b66a7ddd.pdf

That is old, the track is not (currently) for sale.

my perception is, the hebron race was allowed to happen without proper funding in place.
at this point, if ihra comes back with a 2027 anything, as a racer, do you even go unless you are prepared to race for nothing?
creasy and others have every right to not race nhra, and IMO nhra understands their lower payouts are likely the reason
they experience light fields. now if nhra had 2 pro classes instead of 4, maybe their purse structure for TF and FC could change?

He could but I totally understand why He doesnt. No matter what he says some will nail him to a cross others will agree with Him just like now

Creasy doesn’t want to make three passes and only make $10K racing NHRA and I get that. In Columbus he made three runs for nothing. The racers are contractors, put on a great show, held up their end of the bargain, and now they need to be paid. Not paying them makes Daryl a crook. No excuse.

As for the racers, why would they return to run IHRA if they don’t get paid or if it takes a long time to get it? Nitro is a drug and those addicted will do anything for another hit. I would quit racing before racing for his organization.
