If only every track pulled crowds like Gainesville...

Granted I haven't been to Reading or Norwalk cause I hear they pull some Huge crowds when the weather is nice, but every year I went to the Gator's when the weather is good they pulled an easy 35,000 I bet!

Yep, Gainesville pulls a pretty large crowd every year. Nhra is far from being dead yet. Norwalk and a lot of other tracks do also but we tend to shine the spotlight more on the tracks that doesn't have a sellout crowd every year. I look forward to Vegas in a couple of weeks.

Was lucky enough to go to Gainseville in 2006 - was fantastic! Reading yes big crowds. And add Epping to that list now!

In top eliminator we were the only ones in our row. The entire row in front of us was empty. I have never seen this place so empty

I wonder if the stand looking empty at certain tracks has to do with the seating capacity. It seems like the newer tracks like vegas, Charlotte, Rt. 66 look empty but is that because of them being so massive? It seems like classic tracks like Maple Grove, Norwalk and Gainseville pack them in pretty deep.

The crowd was lesser this year than previous years.specially TEC. Seems most opted for GA tix. Still,Gville draws them like nother. Even on an off year.

Yes, Joliet was Wayy overbuilt IMO! Never seen that place full....

When booking my tickets for Houston I noted that only every other row was available on Pit Side. I don't know if those seats are available through another outlet or if they are parsing the seating....

I went to Houston last year and sat on the pit side near the end of the grandstand (about half track) ... Lets just say there were plenty of good seats available. That being said, I had a good time.

Most of us usually do.;) I hope to see you in Vegas... i will be floating around somewhere.:)

Norwalk can get suffocating at times with so many people. That causes problems with the teams too when trying to get to the staging lanes. I love every minute of it though!! ;)

I will be there ... For the regional event too!

Should we start the "bad attendance at Vegas 1" thread now too?
I'm not going to the regional event. I'm going to the nascar race this weekend, Vegas next weekend, and then the boat races in Parker Az the following weekend.
