Here's my take:
There was no charge for the service, only the device. I bought the expensive ICard USB for my laptop. Somewhere in the business plan they forgot the service had to be manned at every event, updated to keep up with changing operating systems and broadcast with expensive equipment race in and race out. Had sales continued to the point of every fan in all of racing purchasing one, this free service would still have had a fuse on it. Our fuse reached the bomb last year. Had the service been a small fee to subscribers, I'll bet we'd still have it every race because suckers like me would've paid it. The information alone was awesome. I guarantee you I could tell you when the Pro Stock teams had the illegal feedback shocks and/or traction control devices on years ago. Unheard of early numbers were recorded and they have never since achieved them, much less every run of the event. Wanna know who was using them? I'll give you a clue. They all won championships. Say what you want but numbers never lie!
