I think I owe DSR and Todd Smith an apology....

and now you know why Don is the team owner and you are where you are at. Good for you admitting you were wrong, that takes some balls.

From day # 1, I did not like this move, but I supported it and knew it was less about screwing and more about business. I'm happy to see the 1. I was right and 2. it actually did work out for everyone in the end. I always said Todd would get the handle on it.

Not meaning to be an ass but because Beckman can cut a light to win means it was the right move to make?

Great job to Beckman for making the most of the situation with HIS skills.

Not meaning to be an ass but .........

Eric, why would you want to change now?

It takes a team to win a race. If the car wasn't close in performance Jack's light wouldn't have mattered.

Congratulations to the whole team, opportunity knocked and they reached out and grabbed it together.

Now that Beckman's team got the new car running strong, word is Aarons wants it for Hagen.

JUST KIDDING

Virgil, you might have me mixed up with my brother although I do have my own moments from time to time... As for the subject of the post, I never meant to slam the rest of the team as like you said it does take the whole team to win... What I was getting at is why are people changing there opinion now when the performance of the car is still in the bottom half of the field (again not meaning to slam the team as it is getting better).

I personally still dont think its right to do what was done with the 2 teams, but it is not my money or my teams or my sponsors and not my call to make. Time to move on! I wish all the teams good fortunes this year!

Better go check the results again, qualified 6th and ran better than mid pack on race day. Got lucky on 2 rounds in the heat, but hardly a back marker by any means.

Show me how the setup won any of the races... Just because you get the car down the track does not mean it was a good setup. Beckman proved HE doesnt need the quickest car at the track to win.

You can have the best driver in the business, but if all the car does is go up in smoke at the hit of the throttle, or just spins the tires when the clutch locks up, or lays down at the top end of the track, he'll win 0, nada, zilch rounds.

Just sayin' :)

Another way to look at it, in FC, there were 4 wins in the left lane all day. 2 of them were by Beckman............:)
