I damn near drove off the 10 freeway this evening. Driving east near downtown Redlands I saw the original Safety Safari wagon sitting on the side of the freeway with the hood up at around 7:30 pm. I wasn't aware the car was available for joy rides. I thought it was one of NHRA's priceless treasures.
