I don't care about the kid, but I've GOTTA get that Irma Brown to stay at my house and deal with my step daughters for a week!!!

I love the little sh$t's answer to him being punished........"maybe take away my video games for a weekend"! What a crock!!!

And what is with his 7 year old buddy "smokin' cigarettes"?

I LOOOOVE me some Irma Brown!!! She ROCKS!!!:D

Being of equivalent age to 'Ol Gramma, I too would whup this brats backside into long-term submission but I guess that could lead to diminution of his self respect and confidence so a "More Appropriate 'Time Out'" should do it in today's world. Just don't take his video games, whatever you do. These are vital in the development of essential hand-eye coordination. Gimme a break! Another pendulum has swung way too far. Discipline is no longer instilling discipline as it was intended to do.

Take away his video games for a weekend? I don't think so, more like take them and give them to safe nest or one of the shelters for domestic violence or something. That kid needs to learn that some consequences can be permanent... & I believe the video games should just be the tip of the iceberg.

Back in the days when I was growing up, my dad would have made tar-tar out of our a$$es!!! We all turned out just fine even if it meant getting walluped every now & then! It sure did teach me to think first before being a complete idiot!!!:D

12 sandwich eatin' tub o' disrespect!!! I bet Grandma got a couple of pops in!!!

Mommy (and maybe Daddy) made him what he is.

Of course the kid is the product of those raising him.

As most of you know, I travel for work every week and this week I am in Toledo, Oh. On the flight from Vegas to Detroit I have this little girl behind me, maybe 9 years old. She is popping her gum very loudly, listening to her iPod and singing along and using the tray table on the back of MY seat as a portable drum set. She is basically doing EVERYTHING possible to annoy everyone around her. I turn around and ask her father (bald guy with a pony tail .... UGH) to have him ask his daughter to be more considerate of those around her. Nothing changes. I get the flight attendant, she says something to them, nothing changes. I turn around again and I say "Dude ... seriously ... I am not putting up with this for 3 more hours". He says to me "Maybe you should ask my daughter nicely". Well this just p!ssed me off, as I had already asked nicely .... so I stand up, turn around and lean over my seat and get right in his face and I say "Maybe I should grab that stupid pony tail and twist your head right off your shoulders." It is good to be 6 foot 4 and 200 pounds sometimes ... the look on his face was PRICELESS. Needless to say, I didn't hear a peep out of them the rest of the flight. The best part is the flight attendants asked me very loudly if I would like a beer or cocktail on the house for assisting with their disruptive passengers.

However it is a sad commentary for 2 reasons. First, that he was entirely uninterested or too lazy or too scared to handle the situation with his kid in a manner becoming a parent. That kid is going to be a mess when she grows up unless something changes soon. Secondly, that I had to threaten physical violence to gain any results.
