I don't believe NHRA allows a rerun for that reason.

what really sucks is he lost 3 rounds to m. coughlin., angelle's win kept coughlin 21 pts. back instead of one, but i think hunter
has more divisionals he can still claim?

This has been protocol for years. It's the same as when a leading car knocks out the finish line cones. The trailing car didn't do anything wrong (other than not being ahead), but they won't get a time due to circumstances beyond their control. No controversy since this is how timing stuff has always been handled, but unfortunate for all involved.

Hated to see that for Hunter. That being said, the Las Vegas LODRS is likely to be a brutal one again this year for TAD with the points coming down to the wire.
