How tough is it for NASCAR?

Just got an email from Bristol and they have season tickets up for general sale. It says the last time they were available was 2004.

For NASCAR - not so tough until the TV money runs out. For teams and track owners - dismal. We had an incredible motorhome spot above the backstretch at Phoenix at $3000 per race for two years - parking passes, power and NASCAR scoring feed and no limit on how many guests. NASCAR dropped us with no notice to convert the spots to corporate spots at $22,000. Many are now unsold. We also have 12 box seats at Indy for the Brickyard - after last year's tire debacle, we won't be going back and probably have no chance of selling them at any price.
With the introduction of the COT, the racing sucks and there will either be short fields or "fillers" who will run a few laps and still be paid more than the TF winner at an NHRA race. Used to love NASCAR, but I'm done.

That is the sunday day race which is not as popular as the night race. You can alway get tickets to this race.

These are "Season Tickets" that they are advertising...good for both spring and fall but you have to buy tickets to all the support races too. There are no individual tickets for the cup night race, as per usual. If the racing doesn't improve, tickets will available for that one too....soon.
