HOW TO INSTALL A HOME SECURITY SYSTEM

1. Go to a second-hand store and buy a pair of men's used size 14-16 work
boots.

2. Place them on your front porch, along with several empty beer cans, a
copy of Guns & Ammo magazine and several NRA magazines.

3. Put a few giant dog dishes next to the boots and magazine.

4. Leave a note on your door that reads:

Hey Bubba, Big Jim, Duke and Slim,
I went to the gun shop for more ammunition. Back in an hour. Don't mess
with the pit bulls -- they attacked the mailman this morning and messed
him up real bad. I don't think Killer took part in it but it was hard to
tell from all the blood.

PS - I locked all four of 'em in the house. Better wait
outside.

That's hilarious Joe!!!:D

It's even more funny since I wear a size 15 shoe (16 in Nikes). I have some work boots that I often keep by the front door after working in the yard. Whenever people come over that don't know me, they are sometimes reluctant to ring the doorbell if the shoes are out & they don't know me.

I remember watching Carrottop once, he showed his Way of scaring off crooks. Place a 6 ft. long Dogbone on the Front porch!

Heck, just put a framed picture of the 'boys' on the front door...

John Kenneth; son-in-law 6' 7" 318 pounds
Daniel; 5'11" 285
Kenny William: 5' 10" 255
Holding their toys, 2 handed broad swords, battle axes, throwing daggers... all very use-able

I've toyed with the notion of framing one of my targets and putting it over the couch. I can get 9 in 10 with the Sig 9mm at a distance if 9 yards (roughly the distance from my bedroom door to the front door, which is definately within the justifiable self-defense range). The Kimber .45 is only 6 in 10 with the other 3 in 9. Of course, for someone to see it he would have to be inside already.
I'm still debating on hanging a NRA flag on the front porch.
