How low will they go??? Q2 is going to be good!

I'll go out on a limb. Cruz, 3.98. Langdon or Schumacher, 3.74/330. Pro Stocks, 6.54 may be it, too humid for .40s. No 200 for PSM, either, same reason, plus nobody wants 20 extra pounds.

Ever see the movie Awakenings?

The part where Robin Williams is telling the nurse how many miligrams the next dose of medicine is going to be to wake up the Robert DeNiro character??

He keeps saying..."Eh... a little more... maybe a bit more... little more..." and so on?? (not exact but you get the idea)

I think there is an awful lot of that going on in the pits right now. :D

TF was surprising. 3.760 is number 1. A lot of team missing on the setups. So far RP's runs are safe...it all boils down to Monday...

Monday. yeahhhhhhhhhhh !!! dont want to get ahead of the curve but If monday becomes raceday Im gonna be there:cool:
anybody else planning on be there monday????

Gotta remember in those Mindshaft conditions some of those guys try to Rotate the Earth and end up wasting the run!

I don't know.. I think everyone that is "suppoed" to run good, ran good other then Antron.

I think they all took a nice swing and maybe came in .01 or .02 slower then they wanted. Lucas was not in the show, so he had to get it in.

Interesting Langdon and Shoe only went 283 to the 1/8 on their .77 runs.

Spencer went 3.01 to the 1/8 but only at 281.

I say "only" becasue Morgan has run 291 before, and ran 287 on tonights runs.

My fingers are crossed we get the race in on Sunday. I have a 8am flight on Monday. The forecast has improved slightly for Sunday, now it is only a 50% of "Showers". The local weatherman said it will be showers mainly in the afternoon and evening. The low pressure isn't going to be as strong as they first thought. Like I told my dad, wake up in the morning and look at the radar, we can't control the weather it will be whatever it is.

There it is! 3.736 for the Army. Just .001 shy of the record, but also a back up for anything as low as 3.699 throughout the end of the weekend.

Cruzer 3.997! Just misses the record by .002! Add Courtney Force 4.028 and a leg up on the speed record at 317mph also! Beckman's 4.003 puts the record and 20 points in his favor with Ron Capps on the verge of a DNQ. Wow has this points race been shaken up. The new record is now 3.989, but Cruz, Courtney, and Neff all have a backup to go at least 3.988. Stay tuned folks!

Motorcycles stepped up to the 6.70's in Q4 and so far pro stock has been full of wholesale changes. The best part of it is, we're going to get all the qualifying in and hopefully a lot of sportsman eliminations before tomorrow.
