A fascinating video I found while cruising youtube. Hadn't seen it before.

Which brings up a question: Are nitro funny car tires the same as top fuel tires?

I would love to do that job for a while. It looks like fun. I imagine those workers blow black rubbery snot every night tho.

I'm pretty sure the tires are the same for both fuel classes.

I have a friend who makes those tires and if one believes what is said it isn't any fun. After 20 years of making goodyear drag slicks of every size they have had shoulder surgery and carpel tunnell surgery and find nothing exciting about it.
