I had the opportunity to put my wife and daughter in the Roy Hill ride along dragster this last week at Firebird Raceway.
Driving chores were supplied by non other than Jim Hughes, multi National event winner in super comp and super gas.
Very cool to have the opportunity to let them get a glimpse of what it is like to go fast (well pretty fast) down the race track.
Jim was not allowed to make a full 1/4 mile pass but ran it a ways past the 1000' mark, running a 10.007 @ 114.
Look on my daughters face when she got out of the car,,,,,,,,,,,
Priceless!!
