Houston fields disappointing....

I'm always shocked when I see Joe lodge any kind of negative comment about today's NHRA. I thought from his perspective it is great and perfect. Guess I am wrong.
That's what I thought. My first thought was that someone hijacked his account. We know the real Joe is witnessing drag racing at it's all time best this weekend.

John is right...it's all over!
Close Joe.... Been about fourteen months... Four-play last years killed it.... B. Smith has been trying for last several years.... real hard to believe This what the 'MATER was screaming for... we've seen the enemy, and It Is Us... watch the same Carp over and over... after all, getting any is better than none... unless you just don't care any more if you get some or not... Joe, it's not over, it's still as great as it ever was, or is now... it just doesn't 'flick my bic' anymore... three 18 year olds at a time in O-Pol city in 72-76 is one thing... 40 plus years later, I just wanna pat Kat on the @$$ and take a nap...

If you're not playing it gets real boring to just watcho_O:oops:

Not sure, might be post of the year:p

I don't know what everyone is looking at, but I see full fields in pretty much every class. Houston always draws big crowds, and always seems to draw full fields come race weekend. There are lots of hard core racers in Texas and Louisiana.

Lance,
NHRA does call around and entice teams to show up when they know the fields are light. Most of the time they get paid a certain $ amount.
