So I'm planning on heading to the HRR in Bowling Green in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone had a schedule for race day. I've been for a qualifying day back in '12 and had a blast but never been to the actual race. Just wondering what time they get done since I would have to drive three hours back to north Alabama. Also hoping to get my girlfriend to go, she likes circle track but she's only been to our local strip for a test & tune night. I'm hoping to get her fully hooked.

The look on her face when she saw a PM Bike hit 170mph in the 1/8 was priceless. She used to work as a sports writer in Talladega so she's been around Nascar a bit. We're planning the HRR trip and if she enjoys it then maybe go to the Charlotte race this fall.

Make sure she's in the stands for the AA/FA. Several West Coast N/TF cars are heading for Bowling Green for this event including World Champion Mindy Fry in the High Speed Motorsports car. You should find all the information needed here:

I saw that. It still doesn't list a race day schedule. I may just end up contacting someone directly. It's a shame they don't worry about posting start and finishing times. Kind of need to know that if you're planning on making it a day trip.
