Herbert, Anderson test Safer Barrier

Both hit the wall warming up for the Saturday Nite Special. Herbert's hit was a bell ringer, the crash reverberating through the facility. Today ESPN Classic @ 9 AM Central.

Did I miss the wrecks? I didn't see Anderson or Herbert. Was I even watching the right race?

They only showed the pro race. I was hoping for some footage of the celebrity portion.

That sucks. I wasted an hour watching roundy-round racing when I could have been watching something more interesting on Science Channel.

A friend of mine who is the service manager at Rancho Valley Chevrolet in Pomona near the Fairplex once told me a few years ago that the most popular service item on a one ton dually was the big left rear fiberglass fender. I asked him why and he said "Drive-thru's...McDonalds, Jack-In-The-Box,..."
