September 20, 2007 - RADFORD, VA--Matt Hagan and crew are on their way to the rescheduled IHRA Suzuki Motor City Nationals in Detroit, Michigan.
In recent weeks the team has been plagued by an unidentified electrical problem in the TORCO ACCELERATOR 1963 Split-Window CORVETTE.
"We've replaced every part on the 'Vette and are in the process of re-wiring it," explains Hagan. "Hopefully we'll solve this problem in time to put a nice exclamation point on the season for this race team, but it's not going to stop us from competing."
Hagan will instead be piloting the TORCO ACCELERATOR 1968 Camaro this weekend.
"I'm confident we'll have a strong showing, represent our Sponsor TORCO well, and maintain our position in the points race," says Hagan. "That's the goal for this weekend."
