<P> A first round elimination was not what Matt Hagan and crew had in mind for their showing at the Canadian Nationals, but the disappointing outing has once again put the team in a position to battle for points. Hagan and crew are hoping for a better outcome as they head to U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan for this weekend's TORCO Northern Nationals.

"We're not out of it by any means," Hagan said. "With 4 races left in the season anything can happen."

Hagan has fallen from second in points to fourth, but is only 6 points out of third place.

"Every time we've had an opportunity to close the gap we haven't been able to," said Hagan. "I don't want this to be a season of missed opportunities for us, we need to get it done this weekend."
