September 1, 2006 Indianapolis, Indiana--After two standout performances in the past two national Pro Modified events, Matt Hagan and his crew enter the MAC Tools U.S. Nationals with renewed enthusiasm.
"It's been a real roller-coaster year for us, but I feel like we've gotten some great momentum from the past few events," says Matt Hagan. "Our car has performed very well, and I feel like we've been competing at a higher level than ever before."
Considered to be the biggest race of the year for Pro Mod drivers, Hagan is
excited about his first trip to Indianapolis. "I hear it's huge. I can't wait to get out there and show everyone what we can do."
Matt Hagan was #2 qualifier at the last NHRA AMS Pro Modified Challenge event in Memphis, TN before being eliminated in the first round with a broken blower belt. Matt and the rest of the AMS Pro Mod drivers will begin qualifying for the MAC Tools U.S. Nationals at 6:00 PM on Friday evening, with additional qualifying rounds scheduled on Saturday for 12:45 PM and
4:00 PM, and Sunday at 2:00 PM. Eliminations begin on Sunday at 5:54 PM
and the event concludes on Monday.
