Greg Carrillo's 2009 plans????

With all the talk of short fields and sponsors dropping like flies, has there been any word on Greg Carrillo running next year? NHRA had this story on their website last April about a late summer debut, but nothing materialized. Having another team in the mix next year could only be a good thing.

yea but that rumor usually surfaces every year...and after the Von Dutch disaster i'll believe it when i see it

Mike - unfortunately, this probably isn't going to happen. Greg and Bradley pitched very hard with no results. Another economy victim, and it's too bad. Greg has never done anything that wasn't first class.

Greg is a real hustler, and a serious racer who has wanted to go fuel racing for a long time. Unfortunately, parked fuel cars are looking to be as common as unused weight sets in the basement, based upon the current environment.
